2. Information Collected & Local Storage

We prioritize data minimization. Below is how details are handled:

• Stream Keys: Your YouTube Stream Keys are entered directly into the setup form and sent to the local Helper. They are required to authenticate the outgoing broadcast with Google/YouTube ingest servers and are masked from dashboard logs.
• Local Video Processing: Selected files are sent to the Helper at a loopback address on the same computer. The Helper creates a temporary local copy for FFmpeg and removes it when the stream process ends.
• Telemetry Data: Metrics such as CPU encoder speed, FPS, and bitrates are calculated by the local Helper and displayed in the browser through a local status connection.

3. Cookies, Advertising & Analytics

The site uses local storage for the Helper address and interface state. Advertising and analytics scripts are loaded only when their production identifiers are configured. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process device information, IP addresses, cookies, and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads, subject to user consent and applicable law.

4. Third-Party Services

YouTube receives the stream you choose to broadcast. GitHub may receive requests when users visit the project repository. Google may receive requests if AdSense, Search Console verification, or a Google-certified consent platform is enabled. Each provider applies its own privacy terms.

5. Your Choices

You can clear browser storage, close the Helper, remove its local runtime directory, or stop a stream at any time. Where required, advertising consent controls will be provided through a certified consent management platform. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to the address below.
