Choosing the Right Resolution
Broadcast resolution defines the pixel density of your stream. While higher resolutions like 4K look incredible, they require significantly more processing power and network bandwidth. Choosing the right compromise is key for a successful 24/7 stream.
Bitrate Reference Guide
1. 720p HD (1280x720)
Bitrate range: 1,500 to 4,000 Kbps. Ideal for average internet speeds. Requires low CPU resources and works stably.
2. 1080p Full HD (1920x1080)
Bitrate range: 3,000 to 6,000 Kbps. The modern standard. Requires moderate CPU resources and a stable internet upload line.
3. 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160)
Bitrate range: 13,000 to 34,000 Kbps. Recommended only for high-speed fiber connections and systems with hardware acceleration.
Adjusting Your Settings
In Pinku's Lab, you can select your desired quality in the setup card. The tool automatically configures the FFmpeg encoder command to match these recommended bitrates.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the recommended bitrate for 1080p at 30fps?
Between 3,000 and 6,000 Kbps is recommended for stable full HD quality.
Does higher bitrate guarantee better quality?
Up to a point. Exceeding recommended bitrates can overload your bandwidth and cause stream buffering.
